Challenges & Solutions
Integration Complexity with ChatGPT APIs:
Challenge: One of the most significant challenges was integrating the ChatGPT APIs to ensure accurate and contextually appropriate responses for divorce-related queries. The variability in user inputs, combined with the need for legal accuracy, required extensive fine-tuning and custom prompt engineering.
Resolution: We implemented custom layers on top of the API to better handle legal terminology and context, coupled with rigorous testing and iterative adjustments to improve the accuracy of the responses.
Ensuring Data Security and Privacy:
Challenge: Handling sensitive personal and legal data posed a critical challenge, especially in ensuring that all data, including chat history, documents, and user information, was securely stored and transmitted.
Resolution: We adopted advanced encryption methods for data at rest and in transit, implemented secure authentication protocols, and ensured compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations. Regular security audits were conducted to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Building a Robust Subscription and Payment System:
Challenge: Developing a flexible subscription system that could manage various user tiers, handle complex scenarios like prorated upgrades and downgrades, and integrate seamlessly with the payment gateway was complex and error-prone.
Resolution: We leveraged the Stripe payment gateway and built a custom subscription management module to handle the complexities. Extensive testing was done to ensure accuracy in billing and a smooth user experience.
Scalability and Performance Optimization:
Challenge: As the user base grew, maintaining application performance while ensuring scalability became increasingly challenging, especially during peak usage times.
Resolution: We designed a scalable architecture using cloud-based solutions, implemented load balancing, and optimized database queries. Regular performance monitoring and adjustments helped maintain system responsiveness.
These challenges were pivotal in shaping the final product, and overcoming them was key to delivering a reliable and effective application for users navigating the complexities of divorce.
