In the initial stages, identifying an online video calling service posed a significant challenge due to scalability, flexibility, and cost considerations. While exploring options, 'Big Blue Button,' an open-source solution, seemed promising, but issues like video quality and screen sharing glitches surfaced during the proof of concept (POC) phase. Continuous updates and maintenance became burdensome.

To address these challenges, we projected user growth over the next 2-3 years and sought managed services capable of accommodating our needs. AWS Chime emerged as a suitable solution, offering managed communication services and customizable features. Leveraging AWS Chime, we successfully integrated online classrooms with tailored functionalities, resolving our initial challenges.
